Welcome, I am Michelle, the CEO of Michelle Meche'l & I want to tell you a little bit about myself.  "Michelle Meche'l" was inspired by my Cuban great grandmother Rosa who passed away when I was 14 years old. "Me-che'l' was the way she pronounced my name in her broken English accent.  I wanted a Brand that would honor someone who meant so much to me because this Brand is everything I dreamed of. Grandma Rosa, I thank you for instilling morals and values and helping me become the woman i am today.

 

I am a entrepreneur born and raised in Harlem. Two years ago I decided to go Natural & did a big Chop. I tried a wide range of " Natural" hair products that didn't quite work for my 4C hair texture nor did they hydrate my scalp or strands. I, like many others, have a scalp disorder called Seborrhea Dermatitis & the flare ups are very similar to eczema, which made it even more difficult to find the right product. I began my own research & created my own natural hair & skin products. Everywhere I went people asked what I used for my hair & skin so I decided to share it with the world.  It became my passion and I I hope to have a treatment for skin & scalp eczema in the near future.
